From the earliest centuries of the Church, Christians have set aside the demands of daily life to seek renewal in God’s presence. Jesus Himself often withdrew to solitary places to pray, setting a pattern for His followers. In our busy and distracted world, retreats remain essential—sacred times to be refreshed, recentered, and equipped for faithful living.
Our equipping ministries are offered in retreat formats patterned after Acts 2:42–47, immersing believers in the rhythms of the early Church: devotion to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, prayer, praise, and a shared life in the Spirit. By stepping away from daily distractions into an unhurried one- or two-day retreat setting, participants enter a focused space shaped by Scripture, prayer, and worship. These retreats feature multimedia-assisted teaching, Spirit-led praise with the musical instruments of the Psalms, small groups, times of reflection, and practical worship resources—all designed to renew God’s people and equip them for a life of mission:
Ancient Paths Worship Retreat
Rooted in Scripture. Empowered by the Spirit. Anchored in Sacrament.
This retreat explores biblical patterns for worship found in both the Old and New Testaments. Participants encounter the rhythm of Word, Spirit, and Sacrament and discover how the early Church seamlessly blended these dimensions. Through Scripture, prayer, psalmic worship, and ancient liturgies from the Book of Common Prayer, churches experience renewal and practical ways to bring these life-giving rhythms into their communities.
Shepherd’s Way Retreat
Following Christ, Our Good Shepherd
A prayerful worship experience for individuals, couples, or groups who desire rest, renewal, and direction. Rooted in the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd, this retreat invites you to slow down, listen, and rediscover God’s presence in your everyday life.
Through biblical teaching, praise, prayer, and reflection, you are guided to lie down in green pastures, be led beside still waters, and have your soul restored—learning again how to live and worship in the loving care of the Good Shepherd.
Worship with the Psalms Retreat
Encountering God through the Psalms
The Psalms are the key to abundant Christian living because they teach us to bring our joys, sorrows, fears, and hopes honestly before God. This retreat explores how the Psalms shape worship, fuel revival and spiritual awakening, and serve as a biblical antidote to the spiritual warfare created by today’s entertainment culture.
Creative Arts Retreat
Created to Create
This retreat awakens and activates artistic gifts within God’s people, including music, dance, painting, writing, iconography, and digital arts. Participants learn how creativity can enrich worship and communicate the gospel in ways that touch hearts, bridge cultures, and span generations.
OIKOS Retreat
Reaching Households. Building the Kingdom.
Rooted in the Greek Word oikos (“household”), this retreat features teaching from the books of Nehemiah and Acts to equip believers to share the gospel in word and deed with family members, friends, and neighbors, fostering hospitality, meaningful conversation, and intentional mission that leads loves ones into the life of the local Church.
Over the years, our retreat ministries have been hosted at a variety of unique venues, including churches, retreat centers, homes, sheep farms, monestaries, seaport towns, military academies, and more.
